Kathy, I hope you had a great weekend!I wanted to let you know that I've tagged you as a recipient of The Thinking Blogger Award! You can find out the details on my April 9 post. Thank you for being an inspiration to me and so many that read blogs. Yours is one of my favorites!
A Happy Easter Monday to you also!
Kathy - I've just found you and am stopping by to say hello. Your home is adorable. I'm originally from Devon, England - home of very old thatched cottages etc. so share your love of this style home, especially when covered in roses! Hope you'll visit me at ACROSS THE POND where you'll find many things English.Regarding your garden arbor - you could try a NEW DAWN climbing rose - grows fast and has the sweetest very pale pink blooms. While it's growing you can fill in with annual vines started from seeds, such as Morning Glories and Moonflowers. You could even put the rose on one side and perhaps Jasmine the other and let them intertwine on top! Another idea is a fast growing Trumpet Vine if you want a brighter flower - they are orange and the leaves stay green through the Winter here. Perhaps you should check with your area garden centers to see which are best for your zone.Congrats. on your Thinking Blogger Award - I got one too this past week! Will visit you again.Mary.
